Tarek's Family History

Father

Mahmoud Abdulaziz, World-class cellist raised and born in Egypt, While studying at the Cairo Conservatoire completing his Bachelor's Degree in Cello Performance. Moving afterwards to Moscow, Russia where he completed his Master's Degree at the Moscow Conservatoire and taking the position of Moscow Symphony Cello Leader up until 1980 and afterwards moving to Koln, Germany to complete his Ph.D thesis in Koln University and moving in his career until he passed away in 1996.

Mother

Nargis Fadel, Pianist, Professor and Music composer studied Piano performance and composing at the Cairo Conservatoire from then she was 5 years old up until her Bachelor's degree. Leaving Egypt at a young age and moving to Germany to finish her Master's degree and Ph.D while performing as a solo pianist with most of Germany's grand orchestras before moving to Egypt again to continue teaching at the Cairo Conservatoire.

Grand Father

Hussein Fadel, A Nay player and music composer in the mid 90's in Cairo Egypt, coming from part of the royal family at the time. Found his passion of the Nay instrument at a late age where he mastered the Instrument at a quick pace which lead him to have played with most of the singers at his time in Egypt and abroad including Um Kalthoum, Farid al Atrash, Mohammed Abdelwahab, Abdelhaleem, Sabah and much more.
