Tarek is deputy lead of the National Orchestra of Saudi Arabia. He is an artist that fuses his German and Egyptian heritage into work that crosses styles and cultures.

As well as performing, Tarek composes original music and has a keen ear for sound engineering. His debut album Antediluvian brings together the classical world and middle-eastern styles.
Tarek is never happier than at 4am in his studio, often there after an orchestra performance the evening before.
Coming from a family of musicians, and the son of a Moscow Cellist Leader and a German trained Solo Pianist, Tarek trained in Violin Performance and Musicology at the Cairo Conservatoire. He plays several instruments, for many years playing the violin at the Cairo Opera House and has toured internationally playing both violin, piano, drums and saxophone.
